How the Food and Culture Tour was born
We yearn to build a connection between people by presenting differences in cultures, customs and ways of life. By doing this we realized how universal the core values of all of us are.
We take the best food Belgrade has to offer and enrich it with stories about Serbian history and culture. We also like to share personal experiences with people coming to visit.
We want to share our love for Belgrade that grows bigger every day!
A few words about friendly faces you will meet at the tour

Serbian literature teacher and wanderer
Had the rare luck to be born and raised in the city dearest to her heart. Her drive to explore took her on many travels and what she loves the most about them is that they always end back in Belgrade.
Reading through endless streams of awesome Serbian books, she became mostly interested in the oral tradition. Epic poems or wise advice, jokes or myths, she enjoys the moment when literature becomes alive. No matter the time of the day or night she is always eager to tell stories as well as to listen to other people sharing theirs. There are no great stories without great company and great atmosphere and she believes Belgrade offers it all.

A philologist and a winter lover
Her three favourite things in this world are chocolate, snow and cozy cafés.
Coming from a small, touristy town in Central Serbia, she and Belgrade weren’t really becoming fast friends. But forever the rogue, Belgrade knew how to charm her up and now she spends most of her time trying to disentangle the fabulously complicated mess of the city and the region.
Both a teacher and a guide, she delights in sharing some of those stories she’s come across.

(You can call her Elisabeth until you learn how to pronounce her name on Serbian)
She tells stories like performing her favorite piece on cello or piano – with a lot of love and passion. She’s born in a beautiful valley in the heart of Bosnia, as a fourth child of father priest and mother with an angelic voice. Growing up in a big family, she definitely learned how to share food with others. Although she spent more years in Sarajevo, for her, home is where she is, and now that is Belgrade.
She is passionate tour guide during the day and a DJ during the night. She is traveling a lot, but she enjoys being a host at her home town.

From 2023, she is officaly licenced tour guide and the one and only law. The one and only law she has for the tour is to leave your diet at home.
